​Synopsis
Set amidst the lush retail landscape of Beverly Hills there is an underworld with its own hidden treasure and human drama.

It's pawnbroking as only Hollywood can do it.

At the center is Yossi - Pawnbroker to the Stars - an A-list ex-commando (currently Liza Minelli’s escort to all the best events), who presides over his little empire near the back entrance of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel as human Hollywood drama swirls around him.

This documentary series follows customers in and out of Yossi’s Pawn Shop and tells the stories that bring them there, as they hock the family jewels, buy baubles for the trophy wife, or spend hip-hop royalties.

Each 22-minute episode will reveal, through the jewels and treasures of the rich and famous, the comedies, the dramas and the twists of fate that lead them to Yossi’s.
